About the Coca-Cola Internship Program
Coca-cola, a leading brand in the world popularly known for its high-quality beverages is currently seeking young South Africans with a degree or diploma in Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Engineering who are willing to work with the brand while gaining professional work experience to help them in their future career. The internship will enable candidates to work in a professional and multi-cultural environment and present them with tasks that will test and inspire their creative ability and problem-solving skills including the chance to work with other professionals from different sectors.

Expected Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Administrative and coordination functions related to Supply Chain Maturity Assessments
- Reading, writing, and verbal communication within the distribution environment
- Rational and irrational numbers and number systems
- Receiving of stock into the wholesale or retail outlet
- Maintaining stock balances
- Safe delivery of stock to customers
- Legal requirement, organization policies, and procedures for the transportation of goods
- Stock flow through the DC/Warehouse
- The packing of stock in appropriately selected areas
- Customer engagement to deliver required volume • Distribution processes • Contract management • The recording of stock movement on the stock management system • Stocktake procedures • Asset management
- Legislation regarding Occupational Health and Safety and applicable safety procedures in the workplace
- Appropriate actions to be taken with regards to hazards and emergency situations
- Maintaining Internal and external housekeeping standards
- Maintaining Customer service and satisfaction levels
