General Requirements for FRSC Recruitment

All interested candidates who meet these basic requirements can proceed to look through the list of available vacancies to determine the appropriate position for their qualifications and submit their applications accordingly.

• You must be Nigerian by birth;
• You must possess the requisite qualifications and certificates. Any certificate or qualification not presented and accepted at the recruitment center shall not be accepted after the recruitment;
• You must be fit and present certificates of medical fitness from government-recognized hospitals;
• You must be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offenses;
• You must not be a drug addict or member of any secret society or cult;
• You must not be financially embarrassed;
• You must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years.
• Your height must not be less than 1.65m for males and 1.60m for females.

Vacancies in the FRSC are grouped into various Cadres are they are as follows;

• RMA Cadre
• MI Cadre
• Officer Cadre
• Officer(MBBS) Cadre

Vacancies Under RMA Cadre and Requirements

Under this RMA Cadre, the following vacancies exist;

Road Marshal Assistant II

• Qualifications
  • Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 credits in SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) which must include English Language and Mathematics

Road Marshal Assistant III

• Qualifications
  • Minimum of three (3) credits in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB, one of the credits must be in the English Language.

Artisans and Tradesmen

Artisans and Tradesmen may apply under this category.

Those applying for the position of Computer Operators, Drivers, Mechanics, Motorcycle Riders, Electricians, Instrumentalists, Tailors, Plumbers, etc must possess the following:

• A minimum of 4 passes in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB.
• Trade Test and or other professional Certificates.
• Drivers and Riders must have the appropriate class of Driver’s Licence.
• Drivers and Riders
• Drivers and Riders MUST have an appropriate class of valid National Driver’s License
• Trade Test and or other professional Certificates.
• Attempted SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)

Vacancies Under MI Cadre and Requirements

Under this MI Cadre, the following vacancies exist;

Marshal Inspector I

• Qualifications
  • Candidates must possess the following:
  • Double Qualifications RN & RM, Accident & Emergency Nurses, Pediatric Nurses, Anesthetic Nurses, Orthopedic Nurses, Radiographers from recognized institutions

Marshal Inspector II

• Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following:

• • Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) in relevant disciplines.
  • Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM).
  • Statement of Result not beyond 5 years.

Marshal Inspector III

• Qualifications

Applicants must possess the following from recognized Institutions:

• • National Diploma (ND)
  • Senior Community Health Extension Workers Certificate (CHEW),
  • Medical Laboratory Technicians
  • Pharmacy Technicians
  • Dental Technicians

Officer Cadre Vacancy and Requirements

• Applicants must possess a first Degree/HND from a recognized Institution of learning and an NYSC Discharge Certificate/Exemption Certificate.

Officer(MBBS) Cadre Vacancy and Requirements

Candidates must possess the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution of higher learning in Medicine
• NYSC Discharge Certificate.
