How to Migrate to Canada With the Fresh Canada Government Pilot Program

The Canadian government has announced new migration pilot programs aimed at attracting immigrants and newcomers to various communities in Canada with a shortage of skilled and in-demand workers. 

These new pilot programs are the Rural Community Immigration Pilot(RCIP) and the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot(FCIP). The two programs are modeled after a successful program called the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) which was recently converted to a permanent migration program in Canada.

Rural Community Immigration Pilot(RCIP)

The RCIP program provides a pathway for new Canadian immigrants and newcomers who can fill critical labour shortages with their skill sets and are willing to live long-term in smaller communities. The Francophone Community Immigration Pilot(FCIP) is designed to fill labour shortages in French-speaking communities in Canada.
