About Investec Tertiary Bursary Programme
Investec, in partnership with StudyTrust, provides the necessary funding for young South Africans with high academic potential to get to university. With their assistance, such students can study towards financial sector-related degrees at various local universities.
Bursary applications are invited from young South Africans who aim to study full-time towards an undergraduate university (academic) degree in:
- Actuarial Science (only first-year students already at university will be
considered unless studying towards a Business Science degree at UCT) - Commerce (Economics, Business Economics, Accounting, Investments and Finance)
- B Com Informatics
- B Sc Computer Science
- B Sc Information Technology
- Bachelor of Information Technology
- Bachelor of Information Science
- Business Science
- Science and Mathematics
- Engineering
- Commercial LLB
- Degrees towards Medicine (MBCHB)

Eligibility Criteria
- Applications for the Investec bursary program are open to all South African citizens with academic potential who need financial assistance.
- Students holding or working towards a matric exemption with a minimum of 70% in English and Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) and a 60% pass rate in all other subjects.

Investec offers a full bursary per year towards study-related expenses.
