About the NNPC NAOC OANDO Tertiary Scholarship Scheme
The NNPC/NAOC/OANDO is a joint venture scholarship programme designed for young Nigerian students in selected study areas as a means of support and encouragement for them to continuously strive to achieve great academic heights.
This scholarship program is of two main categories and they are;
- Host/Transit Communities Merit Award – For applicants strictly from NAOC Host/Transit Communities
- National Merit Award – For applicants from Non-Host/Transit Communities

Requirements for NNPC NAOC OANDO Tertiary Scholarship Scheme
To be eligible for this scholarship programme, applicants MUST be:
- Registered FULL-TIME undergraduates in NigerianTertiary Institutions
- Certified 100-level students at the time of application
- Only indigenes of NAOC Host/Transit Communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Imo States SHOULD apply for the Host Communities Merit Award.
- Only applicants studying Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, and Agricultural Sciences are eligible for the National Merit Award.
The Following Are not Eligible to Apply
- 200 level students and above
- Current beneficiaries of similar Awards from other Companies and Agencies Dependants of NAOC/NAE/AENR/NACPFA

List of Documents Needed For Scholarship Application
All applicants should ensure they have the following documents before proceeding to submit their application. All documents should be in softcopy.
- A recent passport photograph with white background not more than 6 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
- School ID Card
- O’level Certificate
- Admission Letter
- Birth Certificate
- Proof of Local Government Area of Origin
- Letter from Community Paramount Ruler (Only Applicants for Host Communities Merit Award)
- Letter from CDC Chairman (Only Applicants for Host Communities Merit Award).
- JAMB Result

All Applicants Should Ensure the Following Are Properly Done
- Ensure the documents are named according to what they represent to avoid mixing up documents during upload.
- Ensure you attach the appropriate documents when asked to upload as you may not be able to re-upload anyone with an error
- Ensure to provide valid Email and Phone Contact for effective communication

How to Apply for NNPC NAOC OANDO JV Tertiary Scholarship Scheme
All candidates who meet the above requirements and wish to submit their application form now should do so online by visiting the scholarship application portal here before the application closing date.
While on the portal, you are to create a profile with a valid email and phone number, after that, return to the portal, login, and continue to fill out your application form. Make sure you have all the above documents handy.

The deadline to apply for this scholarship is 9th June 2023.
