Shoprite SAICA Accounting Articles Programme 2023 Application Portal
Applications are hereby invited from young South African chartered accountants for the 2023 Shoprite SAICA Accounting Articles Programme. Interested and eligible candidates for this programme should submit their applications online via the application portal.

About Shoprite SAICA Accounting Articles Programme
The Shoprite Group through the SAICA Accounting Program aims at attracting talented Chartered Accounting students who recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting or Certificate in Theory of Accounting to become part of our Finance team.
Successful candidates for this program will have the opportunity to join the Shoprite Accounting Articles Programme which is accredited with SAICA and runs for a minimum of three years. By being part of the Articles Programme, graduates will get exposure to the entire Group of Companies working with a wide range of managers, directors, and executives.
Additionally, during the three-year program, graduates will rotate around the 15 companies that fall under the Shoprite Group of Companies, where they will get exposed to multiple facets of this dynamic Accounting environment. Successful candidates will get placed into a division where they will be able to build a career.

Who Can Apply?
Application is open to all South Africans who meet the program requirements however, successfully selected candidates must be willing to relocate to Cape Town where the Shoprite Group Home Office is based.
Requirements
- Students completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) or Certificate in Theory of Accounting (CTA) from a SAICA-accredited institution
- Applicants must have a minimum of 65% academic aggregate from the previous academic year
- Minimum 65% in Accounting, Taxation, and Auditing
- Applicant must be a South African citizen
- 27 years old and younger
- Academic record
- Certified ID copy
- CV
