South Africa Weather Service Bursary and Internship Programme 2024 Application Is Open
The South African Weather Service hereby invites young South African students and graduates who wish to join the service as interns and those interested in the South Africa Weather Service Bursary 2024 to submit their application forms now for the internship and bursary program. Interested persons are to apply online via the application portal after making sure they meet all requirements.

The South African Weather Service is offering the following Bursary and Internship opportunities for 2024;
- Forecasting Internships /Postgraduate Certificate in Weather Forecasting
All interested applicants must submit their application on the prescribed SA Weather Service bursary application form valid for 2024, obtainable from the SA Weather Service website: www.weathersa.co.za
All candidates should visit the website www.weathersa.co.za/home/Bursaries to apply for the above position and upload their Comprehensive CV with certified copies of qualifications.

Forecasting Internship/Postgraduate Certificate In Weather Forecasting (REF.WS12/10/2023)
The South African Weather Service invites graduates who are in possession of an honors degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric sciences with at least mathematics on second the university level and physical sciences on the first-year university level to apply for a one-year training internship in forecasting at the head office of the South African Weather Service in Pretoria.
The qualification must also include the required dynamic courses as prescribed by the World Meteorological Organization. This course will start on 29 January 2024. The forecasting offices where forecasters possibly can be appointed are Pretoria, OR Tambo International Airport, Bloemfontein, Durban, Port Elizabeth, and Cape Town.

Requirements for South Africa Weather Service Internship
- A certified copy of Matric results
- A certified copy of the full academic record to prove the subject choice at the university where applicable
- A certified copy of the SA identity document
- Motivation Letter
- A CV
- Certified copies of the different degrees
