AKISAN Undergraduate Scholarship 2024 for Nigerian Students | Apply Now
The Akwa Ibom State Association of Nigeria, USA Inc (AKISAN) invites suitably qualified and eligible Nigerians especially indigenes of Akwa Ibom State to submit their application forms for the AKISAN Scholarship 2024 Program. The application portal is currently open and receiving applications from eligible students of polytechnic, colleges of education, and universities. All interested candidates should apply online now before the deadline.

About the AKISAN Undergraduate Scholarship
Akwa Ibom State Association of Nigeria, USA Inc., otherwise known as AKISAN, is a 501 non-profit organization based in the United States of America, which promotes the interests of the citizens of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria both in the homeland and the diaspora.
Under the AKISAN Scholarship, 10 Akwa Ibom state students currently studying in the USA will receive an award of $500, while 62 students from Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education will be awarded a cash prize of N100,000 each.
Applications are now welcome from all Akwa Ibom indigenes who are currently pursuing undergraduate degrees in recognized Nigerian tertiary institutions.

Benefits of AKISAN Undergraduate Scholarship
The AKISAN Scholarship Program is awarded in two categories;
- $500 for 10 students studying in the USA
- N100,000 for 62 students studying in Nigerian institutions
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the below criteria to be eligible for this scholarship;
- You must be an indigene of Akwa Ibom State
- You must be enrolled in a public institution of higher learning anywhere in Nigeria
- Applicants must be Undergraduate students.
- Applicants must be registered for the semester in which the scholarship is granted.
- Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 undergraduate or a High School GPA of 3.0 (on a 5.0 scale) for first-year undergraduates.
