About Investec Bursary Programme

Investec, in partnership with StudyTrust, provides the funding necessary to see young South Africans with academic potential get to university. With their assistance, young people are able to study for financial sector related degrees at various local universities.

The Investec bursary programme doesn’t only offer funds for your degree but they invest in developing well-rounded individuals so that graduates are not only qualified but work-ready too.

From the moment you are accepted into the Investec bursary programme, you are given the chance to rewrite your future because with good education, nothing is impossible and you are given an opportunity to become the very best version of yourself.

Requirements 

Applications are open to candidates who meet the under-listed requirements;

  • All young South African citizens with academic potential and are in need of financial assistance.
  • Pupils holding or working towards a matric exemption with a minimum of 70% in English and Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) and a 60% pass rate in all other subjects.

  • ID copy / Refugee permit
  • Consent form signed – Download it here
  • Mother proof of income/death certificate
  • Father proof of income/death certificate
  • Guardian proof of income (if applicable)
  • Profile picture
  • Proof of acceptance/registration
  • Proof of address
  • National Senior certificate
  • Full academic record (if applicable)

How to Apply

Qualified South Africans who wish to register for the bursary program should submit their application form online via the Investec Tertiary Bursary Programme 2023 application portal here before the deadline. More information is available on the announcement page here.
