This is to notify all Nigerians, especially Indidenes of Northeast that the application form for the 2024 North East Development Commission Scholarship has commenced and all candidates are to submit their application form online for the NEDC Scholarship 2024 before the application closing date.

About NEDC

North East Development Commission(NEDC) is a body charged with the responsibility of developing the six states under the commission in other to bring them up to speed and ensure adequate human and economic development through well-thought programs such as; scholarships, skill acquisition, grants, etc.

To achieve its goal, the NEDC at its meeting on 12th December 2019, established an Education Endowment Fund (EEF) with an initial sum of NGN6,000,000,000.00 (six billion Naira) for operationalizing the Fund. The EEF is intended to address the poor human development indices, high illiteracy rate, and high poverty levels of the Northeast.

Eligibility

Indigenes of the following Nigeria states are permitted to submit their application

• Adamawa
• Bauchi
• Borno
• Gombe
• Taraba
• Yobe
