All applicants who wish to know their status on the South African Social Security Agency grant program can do so by using any of the two online tools provided on the SASSA application portal which includes;

  • The SRD Status checker which you can access here: https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/application/auth
  • Using the Whatsapp option by messaging this number: WhatsApp: 082 046 8553 

Note that you are not allowed to use this tool multiple times so I do suggest you use it one at a time and recheck after some weeks.

SASSA SRD Payment Dates for March 2023

The payment timetable for the month of March 2023 ave been released for successful candidates are they are as follows;

  • Older person grant: 3 March 2023
  • Disability grant: 6 March 2023
  • Children’s grant: 7 March 2023

How SASSA SRD Grant is Paid

The rant payments are made in different ways depending on the option considered best for the beneficiary. Some of the common options  include;

  • Payment through bank account,
  • SASSA card option
  • Through Post Office or
  • CashSend.
