The theobarth grant disbursement has been delayed for the past 2 years now and this has led to protests in different states in Nigeria some applicants have lost faith in the credibility of the grant with so many tagging it a scam and other names.
Despite all these, there have been constant rumors of payments here and there with some persons going as far as sharing payment screenshots which are always met with backlash from other applicants who are yet to get payment. This prompted us to take a look at some of the screenshots shared in one of the Facebook groups and after careful examination, we confirmed that the alert was edited.
After much digging around, we found some useful information regarding the grant disbursement although they are not verified, we think it might be helpful for those who still have hope that the grant will be disbursed this year. The updates are as follows;
Latest News on Theobarth Disbursement Commencement Date 2023
The Theobarth global foundation said they have received the money meant for disbursement to other registered NGOs working on the project with them hence they had given all NGOs to sign the new MOU before the 4th of February 2023.
NGOs who successfully meet the deadline will get their cash disbursements and then proceed to disburse the same to their verified members and this is expected to commence not later than 48 hours after the NGOs receive the payment.
Further information shows that some NGOs refused to comply with signing the MOU although their names were not given this may lead to delay for those under such NGOs. Remember, Theobarth grant houses over 300 NGOs under this project and they are all expected to receive their payment for disbursement at once(except for those who failed to sign the MOU) so no NGO director can lie to applicants when the disbursement finally commence.

Date of Commencement
Since the deadline for the signing of the MOU has already ended, we believe that the grant distribution will commence any moment from now so make sure your records with your cluster leader are up to date and keep an open mind as you await the Theobarth grant disbursement 2023.
