YearBeyond Programme 2024 for Unemployed South African Youths Applications Now Open
The Western Cape Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, through its Youth and After School Programme, hereby invites all unemployed youth, aged between 18 to 25, to apply to be part of the Year Beyond Youth Service Programme for 2024. Interested youths should meet these requirements and submit their application forms online now.

About the Year Beyond Programme
The Year Beyond platform is a program that offers young people the opportunity to get a year of hands-on working experience and build their work readiness competencies, while also giving back to their communities.
Who Can Apply?
Applications for the education programmes are open for youth living in the Western and Eastern Cape who meet the criteria below
Eligibility Criteria
- You should have your Matric certificate
- Some streams may have additional requirements like a minimum mark in language or Maths.
- Graduates (Diploma, Degree, Honours etc.) from all fields of study are eligible to apply. Students who are taking the whole year off from their tertiary studies are also eligible to apply.
- Between the ages of 18 to 25
- Live in the Western Cape or Eastern Cape (Gqeberha)

Benefits
Participants will receive a small stipend and not a monthly salary.

How to Apply for YearBeyond Programme 2024
Interested and eligible young South Africans who meet the above criteria and wish to gain one year of work experience while giving back to their society should submit their application form online by clicking here before the application deadline.
