Zambia Society Trust Education Grant 2023 for Zambian Students – Application Portal and Requirements

About Zambia Society Trust Zambia Education Grant Program
The Zambia Society Trust assists disadvantaged Zambian students to pursue educational, technical, vocational, and training courses in Zambia at recognized and approved institutions.
The grant covers short courses of six months, one or two years are considered, and also longer courses. The grant is awarded for a maximum of two years. Students studying longer courses, the final two years only will be supported. The partial grants awarded will usually cover tuition and examination fees and sometimes accommodation costs. Consideration is given to applicants who have successfully started a course but have two more years to complete. The Trust supports young, able students to enable them to gain employment and also encourages practical courses in agriculture and trades.

Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates should meet these requirements;
- Applications must be for courses within Zambia at recognized institutions.
- The courses should normally be related to the fields of engineering, trades, technology, business, agriculture, education, and nursing.
- Short courses of six months and those of one or two years will be considered, also longer courses.
- Applications for grants for more than 2 years will NOT be considered.
- Successful students would need to provide evidence that no outstanding fees are due to the institution.
- The maximum grant awarded for each complete year of study is usually ZK 12,000.00.
- There is strong competition for these awards so applicants must provide clear and accurate information.
Document Needed
- PHOTOCOPIES (not originals) showing your Grade12 results. If you are already studying
the course applied for, please enclose a copy of your progress and results to date. - An ACCEPTANCE LETTER from the institution for a course in 2023, including the dates
when the course STARTS and ENDS. - A PROFORMA INVOICE or COST ESTIMATE LETTER issued by the course provider.
- If applicable, a payslip or letter from your employer confirming your current salary.
