About Cosmos Learnship Program
The aim of the Africa Cosmos Learnship Program is to train and develop unemployed learners by offering them a Learnership opportunity that will ensure that they receive a nationally recognized qualification. Recent research has shown that the global economy is changing drastically due to the fact that technology is driving business. This learnership opportunity is for you if you want to pursue a successful career in Information Technology Systems Support.
At the end of the learnership program from Africa Cosmos, the candidate will receive a National Certificate in Information Technology: Systems Support (SAQA ID 48573, NQF 5 worth 147 credits).
Requirements for African Cosmos Learnship Program
- The applicant should be a South African Citizen
- Applicant should be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Applicant should be able to speak, read and write English
- Have completed a Matric or post qualifications at NQF Level 4, in the related field
- Be computer literate
- Not be permanently employed
- Not be studying at any other institution
- Not be registered on any other learnerships

Objectives of the Program
- Successfully complete the learnership training contracts
- Attend the required training interventions and
- successfully complete the competency assessments
- Submit a portfolio of evidence
- Placement in a work environment that supports the outcomes of the qualification
- Learners will receive a stipend for the duration of the 12-month program
