How To Check Your SRD Status Online for the R350 Grant Application 

All applicants who wish to know their status on the South African Social Security Agency grant program can do so by using any of the two online tools provided on the SASSA application portal which include;

• The SRD Status checker which you can access here: https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/application/auth
• Use the Whatsapp option by messaging this number: WhatsApp: 082 046 8553 

Note that you are not allowed to use this tool multiple times so I do suggest you use it one at a time and recheck after some weeks.

SASSA SRD Payment Dates for November 2023

The payment timetable for the month of January 2023 has been released for successful candidates they are as follows;

• Grant for Older persons: November 2, 2023
• Grant for Disabilities: 3 November 2023
• Grants for Children: November 6, 2023

All qualified beneficiaries for the grant are to bring all the necessary documents to ensure swift payment of their grant amount and also to make sure the process is completed swiftly.

January 1st is Sunday and Monday has been declared a public holiday by the South African government hence the date has been scheduled as stated above.

How SASSA SRD Grant is Paid

The rant payments are made in different ways depending on the option considered best for the beneficiary. Some of the common options  include;

• Payment through bank account,
• SASSA card option
• Through the Post Office or
• CashSend.

Sassa manages grants and allowances for different groups in South Africa that may need financial assistance. This is done through grant programs that include; grants for children, older persons, and those living with disabilities.
