World Energy Council Developing Countries Scheme 2024
The World Energy Congress reflects the Council’s core values of openness and inclusivity, uniting countries, businesses and communities of all shapes and sizes.
The Developing Countries Scheme enables and supports the participation of up to 250 delegates from developing countries in joining the conversations and making the connections that will build better energy futures for billions of better lives on one healthy planet.

The Organising Committee of the 26th World Energy Congress is committed to enabling participation from across the world and has put together an exclusive package to support delegates from selected developing countries. If your country is included in the list below, you will be entitled to:
- A complimentary delegate pass – worth up to €4,000
- Complimentary hotel accommodation for up to 5 nights
- Partial compensation of up to €750 for flights, visa, etc.
Please note that places are strictly limited and application is no guarantee of selection. The Organising Committee works with the Council’s Global Secretariat to identify suitable delegates from each country using a set of selection criteria. If selected, delegates will be given a date by which to finalize their registration to secure their place.

How to Register for World Energy Council Developing Countries Scheme 2024
If you wish to participate in the scheme, kindly complete your application form online now via this link before the application deadline. Please note, that due to the limited number of places available, participation via the Developing Country Scheme requires a verification process.
Program Time Table
STEP 1
Apply for the scheme before 15 January 2024. You will need a copy of your passport and proof of residency or occupational status.
STEP 2
If accepted, you will receive an email with the link to register and a registration code.
STEP 3
Complete your registration within the given period
STEP 4
Upon successful registration, you will be connected with a Service Manager to assist with accommodation and travel arrangements.
STEP 5
Secure your travel. You may take advantage of discounts offered by partnering airline carriers and partial compensation of up to €750, reimbursed after attendance.
STEP 6
Reimbursement will happen after attending the meeting. Delegates will have to show receipts and an expense claim form.
